Countdown until the pre-party at 156 acres of Raisin' Hell

2 DAYS! (Holy crap!)

The annual phone call from Aimee slipping and telling me a secret has already occured. We admitted to one another what our costumes will be for this year. All I have to say is, hilarious, on so many levels. Sharon would be proud. Or appalled, I'm not sure.

I'm a bit distraught right now, however, because I have been on a mission to find my dry bag that Woy bought me, and can't uncover it. I have a short while to find it, so I am hoping it shows up!

Note: I messed up my days left for a while now...it's actually....

It's a sad, sad day when not one Stafford clan member is on the River Run. 

But, the show must go on, and although we will miss Angie, Kurt and Margie, we have successfully filled 2 of their vacant spots.

Kurt, have fun in Russia. Angie, I hope your baseball gets cancelled and you show up at the farm Friday night for a beer. I'll keep one on ice for you.

As mentioned in the last entry, Jen & Pete were able to fill Angie's spot with their friend Sean. Filling in for Kurt will be Mike's & my Uncle Bob. With the loss of Kurt we also lost his guitar, but have no fear because Rosey plays too! I have instructed Uncle Bob to bring his guitar and songbook. I mean, what's a Party Like a Rockstar River Run without a guitar?

We still need a partner for Bob, so please re-open all your resources and help us find someone!

We now have our canoes full! Thanks to Jen and Pete for bringing along Dean to fill in Angie's spot.

See you all at the farm! Woohoo!

I will be heading over to my friend Tanya's to help her out tomorrow with the shirts. I will hopefully be able to model some of the product and post pics so that you can be envious of me having mine already.

Lori and I are well on our way to completing our themed costumes. We are going to be the biggest rock video sluts there ever were!

Anyone that ordered dry sacs they are being ordered today. I will find out your exact pricing and let you know once Lori has a bill.

We are also on the search for a replacement for Angie. Please let Mike or myself know if you can find anyone.

We are weeks away and I am so excited!

The shirt order went in today and we will not be able to add anything with a guarantee it will arrive at this point.

That's right, we are stocked up on paddlers!

All 8 canoes have been filled, so we will not be accepting new registrations unless you get your own canoe or kayak. Mike will make the final decision, but I think we were very set on only having 8 canoes as it gets a bit too much when we go beyond that number.

If you didn't register to come this year and still wnat a shirt anyway, email me and we will arrange something.

I don't really have much to say, except that I am getting that excitment building for the trip.

Once again, we encourage dress up, so don't be surprised if you see some mullet-headed rocker or Gene Simmons pull up beside your canoe asking you to Pass the Puss.

OK, so the mullet-headed rocker might be a local, but I'm pretty sure Gene Simmons wouldn't be canoeing the Saugeen, so it's probably one of us.

I tried as best I could to get the old school rock type shirts (you know, the black body, white sleeves), but the best I could do was the white body, black sleeves.

But don't worry, regular shirts are still available for purchase if you want one, but only in black. If you want extra shirts, please include this info for your order.

Prices will be added shortly. I am still waiting to finalize how much they will all end up costing. Remember that a t-shirt or tank top is always added into your cost, so if you want a hoodie or *new* for this season, baseball 3/4 sleeve shirts, it will be  a bit extra. Also don't forget that you can order more than one item...I know I am!
